The BNZ has taken a proactive stance in favour of the empowerment of women. There are lots of things wrong with this:-

  1. Hot on the heels of the Labour Party's attempt to allow its electorate committees to impose a Man-Ban on candidates, and now that I have proven beyond reasonable doubt that Feminism has nothing to do with equality, the empowerment of women must be seen as an anti-male power-grab, pure and simple.

  2. The BNZ has received a United Nations award for their policies in this matter, which is incontrovertible proof that they are sexist and anti-male.  In the case of the female head of the World Health Organisation, a Men's organisation summarised their evidence, and concluded "We confidently expect that the WHO, under your leadership, will develop a culture of incompetence, sexism, discrimination and womanly irrationality."

  3. The BNZ's statement on this issue is full of hypocrisy.  It states, "We believe empowering every employee is good for diversity, and ultimately good for business."  First of all, the BNZ is not empowering every employee; it is only empowering women.  Empowering women disempowers men, relatively speaking -- and also in absolute terms.  Secondly, empowering has nothing to do with diversity.  An organisation is just as "diverse" with a certain number of female employees in junior positions as with the same number of female employees in senior positions.  Thirdly, "diversity" is a not necessarily good thing in itself.  In fact, it creates a lot of problems and conflicts of interest between groups and possibly lowers morale, driving certain productive employees out and changing the culture of the organisation in unpredictable ways.  To achieve "diversity", you have to discriminate against certain groups in your hiring and promotion policies.  Fourthly, whether it is good for business is something that is not proven -- and possibly not provable in principle.

  4. There has neven been any attempt to bring about "diversity" in occupations that are dominated by women, such as primary and pre-school teaching -- despite the fact that this would possibly help promote the education of boys, who are currently falling behind girls in their education.  So the term "diversity" is just used as an excuse to favour women over men.

Women in Western societies are routinely Feminist, which drives some of them to use their employment positions in Feminist (i.e. anti-male) ways.  For example, the following two emails (with the name of the bank deleted) show that an employee of a bank (presumably female) used her position to reverse the order of the names of the husband (myself) and wife in the name of their account, without asking them!  Naturally, she placed my wife's name first, whereas originally it had been second.  I had to write to the headquarters of the bank (after emailing them twice) to get an apology, although I did not ask to get the names restored to the original order, since the point of my complaint was just that we had not been asked for permission before the change was made.

(The above email did not answer the question that I had asked, so I emailed the bank again.)

If the person at the headquarters of the bank had been a Feminist, she would possibly just have supported her female subordinate, since I am a mere male, and the bank might well have adopted a policy that all joint account names must have female names preceding male names, as a form of "updating"!!

Men must boycott the BNZ, because there is no merit -- and a lot of danger -- in preferentially promoting women over men, unless men are preferentially placed in teaching and nursing etc. jobs where women predominate, and women are sent down the mines to die alongside the men!
