FASO deal with false allegations against any sex, adult or child and also
families' issues. Our social services make a father homeless if he has been
accused of sex abuse of any kind, threaten the mother with having her children
taken if she communicates with him. If the case is dropped it does not necessarily
mean they are allowed back into the home, and certainly not without screening.
That, of course, is if the family is not broken up.
Our role is to provide information about the role and core functions of
the General Medical Council. The General Medical Council controls all publications
and only supports its own chosen way of thinking, without debate with those
who can prove differently and are retired but equally backed by their peers.
I have just heard today about one such - but I will leave it here as I am
supporting the mother in endeavoring to clear her name with trying to get
the right information to her.
The meetings I attend in the 3rd sector criminal field (Charitable and Voluntary
Sector Dealing with Criminal Support) partly deal with prison/ domestic violence/
rape on women issues, where the driver is on for supporting women in all areas
toward changing legislation – no acknowledgement that men/boys suffer
from the same problems -- therefore no request for inclusive legislation,
or discussions.
Then again it is only the odd male that tries to stand up and be counted
- it sad they cannot get the oompf that the females have.
I still bring up wherever I go - NO, not one sex but both.
