A Woman's False Allegation Straight
from the Pig’s Mouth

A few days ago, I received a Facebook Friend Request from someone who said
he was a Gay Rights Activist. The top post on his page was a rant, complaining
about Men's Rights Activists who complained about women's false allegations.
He made rude remarks about Men's Rights Activists and implied that women never
made false allegations. That was in the first few lines of his post. I did
not read any more but declined his Friend Request and marked him as Spam.
I recommend the book by Al Lester, "Straight
from the Pig’s Mouth: The Life and Crimes of a Kiwi Detective".
New Zealand: Penguin, 2018, which is the memoirs of a New Zealand police officer.
On pages 75-81, he tells the story of a woman, Sharon (probably not her
real name).
"The handle of a large knife was protruding from her exposed
upper-stomach area. I suspected that the blade had gone right through her."
Before she went to hospital, she told Al Lester that the person who had
done that to her was her ex-flatmate, Jimmy (probably not his real name).
The man denied it and had an alibi. Al Lester interviewed the woman again
(in hospital) He told her to tell the truth and she admitted,
"I did it to myself."
"Sharon told us that she had strong feelings for Jimmy and that
she was heartbroken when he had rejected her advances. Stabbing herself
and blaming him was her revenge for this rejection."
I will have more to say on this book in future, including about the fact
that the woman was not charged with any crime, but was treated as a sick person.
Compare that with the way men are treated who are heartbroken when they are
rejected by a woman and are violent towards her.
There is a big difference between a decision by Police
not to charge someone and an acquittal in court on mental health grounds.
This is about the anti-male sexism of the Police. Never let it be said that
I have claimed that Clinical Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Lawyers or Judges
are competent or know what they are doing, but at least they make their decisions
together and in a relatively transparent way.

but aren't less human.
We blame sexism.
