Media such as Radio New Zealand (Nine to Noon, 12 May 2008) and the Dominion Post (13 May 2008), as well as politicians such as the National Party's Chester Borrows were quick to criticise newly published rules for police behaviour for not explicitly mentioning sexual misconduct. It was allegations of sexual misconduct which started a chain of events which resulted in the new rules for police behaviour being drawn up. However, the Louise Nicholas allegations which sparked the hysteria were thrown out of court, it should be noted.
Of course, the dyldomedia don't know any better. The dyldomedia (or "the media", for short) put down their dyldos in the morning, mutter, "Duh, women...," get out of bed, and prepare to go to work. All day, at work and at play, they mutter "Duh, women...," and at night they mutter "Duh, women...," before picking up their dyldos and getting into bed again.
